Training Matters

When it comes to children, a well trained caregiver makes all the difference in the world. A well trained caregiver - one who has received training in early childhood education and care - has earned the title "early childhood professional."

He or she:
  • understands how children grow and develop;
  • knows how to assess children's progress;
  • makes the environment rich and interesting;
  • believes in developing supportive, caring relationships with both children and parents;
  • has the skills necessary to run a quality early education and care program;
  • proudly represents the early childhood field.
